Toddler Program

Toddlers need a lot of personal attention and guidance as their innate curiosity and desire for independence develops and they begin to learn about the world around them. Here at Bloom Learning Centre we guide the development of these early skills through personal attention, exploration of their environment and interaction with other children and teachers.

The needs of each individual child in our toddler program are met by flexible scheduling that includes structured indoor and outdoor activities. These activities develop self-help skills and independence as well as language, social awareness and non-aggressive problem solving in each child.  

Toddler activities are designed to develop a wide range of skills, including role play, problem solving, discovery, communication, creativity and imagination, as well as reading, writing, numbers, space and measurement.

Teachers at the Bloom Learning Centre also work closely with you to help your child through potty training. Our goal is for each child to enter into the preschool program either being potty trained or in the process.

Theme

Children in the Toddler Program are taught in a colourful space depicting an underwater world full of interesting and stimulating things to encourage a young child’s imagination and curiosity.
